Magnetic Glow
Magnetic Glow is one of the symbolic stars a chart can carry, and like every star it is flavour rather than a verdict.
What it is
A quieter warmth than Peach Blossom: charm that is felt rather than displayed.
What the old texts say
Its name means red and lovely, and the texts read it as affection and romantic appeal. It is one of the least settled stars in the file: the tables differ over which branch belongs to which day stem, and the classical verse can be read more than one way.
Korean practice does not agree on how Magnetic Glow is counted, so two readers can honestly disagree about whether you carry it at all.
How we read it now
Emotional atmosphere, taste, and the kind of pull that makes other people relax.
In love
Feelings get expressed generously and warmth is given early. It helps to choose the pace on purpose rather than let the mood choose it.
At work
Art, design, beauty, styling, performance: work where feeling is the product.
