Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and MJ Generation LLC, a a New Jersey limited liability company with its address at [ADDRESS] ("Fatessia", "we", "us"). They apply when you use the Fatessia website, free tools, paid readings, credits, gifts and character chat (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, or by ticking the box at checkout, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Disclaimer and AI Disclosure, which form part of these Terms.

1. What the Service is

1.1 Fatessia provides readings based on Korean Four Pillars (Saju). We calculate a chart from the date, time (optional) and place of birth you enter, using fixed rules. An artificial intelligence (AI) model then writes text from the calculated values. Every number, date and score in a reading comes from our calculation, not from the AI.

1.2 The Service is for entertainment and self-reflection only. We do not claim any supernatural, psychic or occult ability. Readings describe tendencies and themes from a traditional system; they do not predict what will happen, and they are not medical, psychological, legal, financial, investment or other professional advice. Please read our Disclaimer.

1.3 The characters you meet in the Service (including the ones you chat with) are fictional and AI-powered. They are not real people and do not have real-world expertise. See our AI Disclosure.

2. Who can use the Service

2.1 You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) to use the Service. Free tools are also intended for adults. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will close the account and delete their data.

2.2 You must give accurate information and keep your sign-in link and email account secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

2.3 Other people's data. If you enter birth details or other information about another person (for example, a partner), you confirm that you are allowed to share it with us for this purpose and, where the law requires it, that you have their permission. Do not use the Service to make decisions about another person, or to build a profile of someone without their knowledge.

3. Purchases

3.1 Products. We sell one-off digital readings ("Readings"), gift codes, and packs of chat question credits ("Credits"). We do not currently sell subscriptions. If we introduce one, we will show its terms, renewal price and how to cancel before you subscribe, and cancelling will be as easy as signing up.

3.2 Price. The price shown on the product page and in the checkout summary is the price you pay, in the currency of your market, including any VAT or sales tax we are required to charge where the law requires prices to include tax. We do not set prices by age or gender. Discounts appear as a separate line only when a coupon, credit or invite reward actually applies. Optional add-ons are never pre-selected.

3.3 Payment. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers (such as Stripe, and where available in your market, other local providers). We do not see or store your full card number. Your bank or the provider may charge fees or exchange rates we do not control.

3.4 Contract formation. A contract is formed when we confirm your payment. We email you a receipt that includes, where applicable, your confirmation about immediate access (see the Refund Policy).

3.5 Delivery. After payment we generate your Reading and email you a private access link. Most Readings are ready within minutes. Anyone who has the link can open the Reading, so keep it private. If a Reading cannot be generated, we refund you in full.

3.6 Credits, invites and gifts. Credits are used for chat questions and, where shown, toward purchases. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and are refunded only as described in the Refund Policy. Bonus credits (for example, welcome or birthday credits) may expire; the expiry date is shown in your account. Invite rewards apply when a friend signs up through your link and makes a first purchase within 24 hours of signing up; rewards cannot be exchanged for cash and we may refuse rewards obtained through self-referral or abuse. A gift code can be redeemed once for the Reading it was bought for.

3.7 Refunds and withdrawal rights. Our Refund Policy explains when we refund, and your statutory rights in the EU, UK, Brazil and elsewhere. Nothing in these Terms limits those rights.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: - use the Service if you are under 18; - harass, threaten or defame anyone, or use readings to pressure or manipulate another person; - enter sensitive information about another person without a lawful reason; - try to make a character produce harmful, sexual, hateful or illegal content, or to bypass safety rules (for example by "jailbreak" prompts); - copy, scrape, resell or publish our content at scale, or use it to train AI models; - interfere with the Service, its security or other users; - use the Service in breach of any law.

Character chat will not answer requests for medical, legal or investment decisions, and will point you to real help if you mention self-harm or danger.

5. Intellectual property

5.1 The Service, its software, design, characters, images, audio, video and written content belong to MJ Generation LLC or its licensors.

5.2 We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read and keep your Reading for your own personal use. You may share your Reading or a share card with people you choose, but not commercially.

5.3 You keep any rights you have in what you type (for example, your concern or chat messages). You give us a licence to use it only to provide and secure the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Availability and changes to the Service

We work to keep the Service available and accurate, but it may be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue a paid feature you have not yet received, we will refund you.

7. Disclaimers

7.1 To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that a reading will be accurate, complete or suitable for any purpose, or that any event described will happen.

7.2 AI-generated text can contain mistakes. We check numbers and dates against your chart, but wording may still be imperfect.

7.3 Some countries do not allow certain exclusions. In those countries, the exclusions apply only to the extent allowed.

8. Limitation of liability

8.1 To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions you make based on a Reading or chat answer, or for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits or emotional distress arising from reliance on a Reading).

8.2 To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 50.

8.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer in the country where you live (for example under EU, UK, Brazilian or Mexican consumer law).

9. Ending your use

You may stop using the Service and delete your data at any time from your profile page ("Delete my data"). We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, are used fraudulently, or belong to someone under 18. If we close your account without fault on your part, we will refund unused paid Credits.

10. Governing law and disputes

10.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer living outside the United States, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, and you may bring a claim in the courts of your country.

10.2 Before starting a formal claim, please contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL] so we can try to resolve the issue within 30 days.

10.3 EU consumers can also use their national consumer dispute bodies. Brazilian consumers may use consumidor.gov.br and PROCON. Mexican consumers may contact PROFECO.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version with a new "Last updated" date. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you by email or in the Service at least 15 days before it applies. Changes do not apply to purchases already made.

12. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. We may transfer our rights and obligations to a company that takes over the Service, provided your rights are not reduced. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. These Terms are available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean, Japanese and Traditional Chinese; if versions differ, the version in your language prevails to the extent required by local law.
