The Ten Gods
The Ten Gods are relationships, not deities: they describe how each part of your chart relates to you.
Five relationships, two polarities
Each character is compared to your Day Master by element and by yin–yang polarity. That gives five families (peers, output, wealth, officer and resource), each with a same-polarity and an opposite-polarity version.
Peers and output
Peers (Friend and Rob Wealth) share your element and describe independence and rivalry. Output stars (Eating God and Hurting Officer) are what you generate: expression, creativity and talent.
Wealth and officer
Wealth stars are the element you control and describe resources and how you handle them. Officer stars control you and describe structure, responsibility and, in relationship readings, commitment.
Resource
Resource stars generate your element and describe learning, support and protection.
Are some Ten Gods bad?
No. Names like Seven Killings are traditional; every Ten God has a constructive side and a side to manage.
