How it is used
They are the most colourful part of a reading and the part to hold most loosely: the catalogues differ between books, some are counted from the day pillar and some from the year, and a star one tradition finds will not appear in another. We calculate them from your own chart and name which pillar each one came from, so the basis is visible. A star is a description, never a verdict, and none of them decides an outcome.
