Combination
Two characters that pull toward each other: stems binding, or branches linking into a team.
In one sentence
Two characters that pull toward each other: stems binding, or branches linking into a team.
How it is used
Stem combination binds two heavenly stems and is the strongest single signal a compatibility reading looks for, while branches have a three-branch team-up and a two-branch pairing that read more like cooperation than attraction. A combination is not automatically good: a character can be tied up and stop doing its own job. What it describes is pull, not an outcome.
