Sixth Sense Gate
Sixth Sense Gate is one of the symbolic stars a chart can carry, and like every star it is flavour rather than a verdict.
What it is
The gate spirits pass through: a nervous system tuned a notch higher than average.
What the old texts say
Older sources linked it to nervous strain and unsettledness, which this reading does not use: that language stigmatises and claims things a chart cannot know. Sources also disagree about which pairs belong, and several of them overlap with the Resentment Pair table.
Korean practice does not agree on how Sixth Sense Gate is counted, so two readers can honestly disagree about whether you carry it at all.
How we read it now
Sensitivity and intuition: reading a room before anyone says anything. Rest is not a luxury for this one, it is maintenance.
In love
Catches a change of mood almost immediately. Asking instead of deducing is what keeps the accuracy from turning into invented stories.
At work
Art, counselling, user research, anything where noticing early is the skill being paid for.
