What the old texts say
Classically it meant leaving the place you were born, travelling often and living busy. The basis is disputed in the same way Peach Blossom is, year branch against day branch, and the shortcut that counts certain branches on their own is treated as popular simplification rather than method.
Korean practice does not agree on how Wanderer Star is counted, so two readers can honestly disagree about whether you carry it at all.
